MUSIC VIDEO PLANNING Statement of intent draft 2: I will make a 2-3 minute music video with an accompanying music magazine . The song i have chosen to do is called 'I'm not racist' by Joyner Lucas, the genre of the song is rap/ hip-hop. I plan on adopting some of the features of the original music video such as the cinematography used. I have chosen this genre because it initially gave audiences an insight into the lives of young, black, urban people and also gave them a voice. Tricia Rose has criticised commercial hip hop and suggests black culture has been appropriated and exploited by capitalism. Film Poster analysis

Film and TV Language Homework Blade Runner The film poster suggests that the film might be about villains vs heroes, as the male character is holding a gun which implies he needs to protect himself or someone, further implying he is the main character in the film. The tag line used also suggests that the main character needs to protect himself  from something evil and needs to defeat it.  The female character looks quite wicked by her deadpan facial expression as well as her dark hair. In addition to this, the cigarette she is holding suggests that she might be the 'femme fatale' as it gives her a sense of evilness, however her appearance also creates a sense of  seductiveness which makes her alluring. Therefore she might be the main villain that main character falls in love with but also has to defeat.
