The story line might be that the main character is searching for his lost love and commits many crimes on his search with the help of other criminals. The overall mise-en-scene of the film poster makes the fun seem frightening and thrilling as the characters facial expressions suggest they are villainous and evil.
The lighting, clothing and setting use dark colours creating an overall sense of darkness and eeriness.The genre of the film could be drama/mystery as the main character is searching for someone.

 The film poster suggests that the film will be about evil pirates invading their enemy pirates trying to steal their treasure, money as well as kidnapping the main characters love, therefore the story line of the film might be that the main character goes on a conquest to rescue his love and kill the villainous pirates. One of the characters looks like a typical villain because of his dark hair and eyes as well as his stern facial expression and the use of the gun further implies his is the antagonist. The female character has light brown hair and soft eyes suggesting she has a romantic relationship with one of the characters and she might have been kidnapped by the evil pirates.The use of the props and the ship etc suggests that the characters have to go on a wild adventure. The target audience might be teenagers as they usually are interested in fiction, adventure movies. The genre of the film might be fantasy/action as the film poster as a whole has elements that hunt at action .
